A morning conversation with my 3 year old...

Tobin: "Hey Dad..."
Me: "Yes Tob'?"
Tobin: "Guess what I'm getting for Christmas?"
Me: "What's that!?"
Tobin: "A baby sister!"
Me: "Where are you gonna get a baby sister?"
Tobin: "From Sam's Club."

Monday morning and back to work!

We just got back from a great weekend in Beloit, surrounded by family and friends! We ate at the Speakeasy in Janesville, but the service was awful. Food was good, but they really lack in total customer service. It kinda puts things into perspective more with my business. If you fail the customer, then you fail your business. Too bad for them, cause word-of-mouth can make or break a business. We later made our way to Adam and Claudia's house for an evening of New Castle (I know Zack would have approved) and martinis, followed-up by a couple rounds of Catch Phrase and some other game that I could not (for the life of me) figure out. I don't even know what it was called...

Claudia and Adam have an amazing house. These colors are unreal!

....and I got to end the weekend with a great breakfast and quality cup of coffee!

...I See Dead Pixels.

I've been behind this thing far too long the past month...

Crunch time is upon me! Booking, booking, booking! Preparing, editing, writing, and living....all at the same time. It's nuts! My head has been spinning like crazy lately, but it's been a good thing. Aside from booking photo shoots up until the week that our baby is due, Melanie and I have been working like mad to get our very first wedding show at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center ready for February 2nd. Not to mention working our business plan to perfection. I'm so blessed by the response of word-of-mouth promotion that I have been receiving as of late. Again, it's all been nuts and certainly unexpected! And I gotta say, Melanie has been such an amazingly huge help to me through this whole time. I love her to death! She has been such a big inspiration and motivating factor in my life. Even at 8 months pregnant, she's been handling business meetings, arranging tedious business details, and been one heck of a great mom in between it all! I almost think she is the real Superwoman!

So much happening right now, I can hardly contain my excitement for the future! So many people have been supporting my plans for the coming years, it's unreal! Thank you to everyone that has given me the much needed support this past month, I love you all!

Cheers,
~dave

PS. I did some work on my hair. Well, Derrick did some work on my hair. Don't worry, this look will only be around until after the baby arrives.
